what is surveying and also type of survey

 Surveying

The art of determining the position of individual  feature on the surface of earth, by measurement of distance, elevation and direction is called surveying.

Primary types of surveying

Surveying primary divided into following two types

Plan surveying

the survey in which the earth surface is assume and not taken into consideration as plan survey the curvature of earth is  ignored ,are known as plan survey .

Geodetic surveying

The surveys in which earth surface is taken into account and high degree of accuracy is required are known is geodetic survey.
